This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Please help me give my students hands-on manipulatives to bring both math and science to life. We are in need of a model solar system and butterfly growing net for science. Our math manipulatives would be an open number line and a hydroponic growth kit to measure plant growth.

Research shows that we learn best when we can move, manipulate, and experience math and science.

These materials will help bring to life the concept of butterfly life cycles, planets in the solar system, and complex math problems.

These materials will help students to be successful with the state standards they are required to master before the end of the year and take their end-of-the-year assessment. We can't wait to get learning.
