My Project
I love science and butterflies. In 3rd grade, students see the butterfly life cycle of a Painted Lady butterfly. So I want my 2nd grade students to see the ladybug life cycle and also the plant cycle of how planting seeds and seeing them grow into flowers will help both ladybugs and butterflies.
Seeing a life cycle in person is very educational to watch, but also fun to experience.
My 3 sons have seen both life cycles and watching their faces was priceless! I can't wait to see my students faces and how much they will learn and hopefully remember what they did in 2nd grade.
My students are special because they are willing to learn new things each day and are happy to see what else I will teach them that is hands on. Also, they like to help me clean our classroom.
