Help me give my students more puzzles, art supplies, and building materials for indoor recess.
FULLY FUNDED! Ms. Yopp's classroom raised $215

My Students
My students come in every day with smiles on their faces and ready to learn. I teach a very diverse group of second graders in a high poverty school. Some of my students come from homes where they have been read to since they were infants, and others come from homes with no books at all. Some come from homes full of food and others are part of our pack-a-snack program that provides food for students on weekends and breaks.
We have a wonderful second grade family, and we work hard every day to help each other make the best choices!
It is my goal to keep my students interested in all aspects of their education, especially reading.
My Project
We love having recess outside, but when it's raining or during winter months we have to stay inside. These materials will give my students more choices during indoor recess times. We have limited options currently and many of our puzzle pieces are lost and our games are broken.
These materials will help my students be able to create, build, and use problem-solving skills while having fun.
My students will love being able to put together puzzles, create new crafts, and even build their own trucks to race. New indoor recess materials will definitely make indoor recess more fun for all of us!
