My Students
Have you ever watched a drum circle with 25 kids playing percussion instruments together? Students in my music program get the opportunity to learn to play these hand drums in an ensemble. Help me teach them by giving us enough drums for each student to be able to play!
My students attend a brand new charter middle school.
I can already tell how much they LOVE music class and how excited they are to start taking drumming classes. Each day as my students walk into my music classroom, their eyes are opened to a new world.
My Project
With 2 more sets of conga drums, each of my students will be able to perform music on instruments! As one of my music students, they are given the opportunity to receive music enrichment, perform for different audiences, and perhaps have their doors opened to more musical opportunities.
Who knows, we might be educating a student who will get a full scholarship for music performance in college!
Without this opportunity, my students would never know their full musical potential. Help me give them this chance!
