My Students
My students have such creative minds, but no way to express it. Through science, they are able to build, create and bring to life anything they can imagine. My students are in a low-income area and can't afford much. My school is very supportive in any way possible and the community organizations give what they can.
My students express some amazing ideas of how to help their community and they ask how they are able to bring their ideas to life.
Giving students materials they need to help this happen will be a dream come true for them.
My Project
My students will use this equipment to safely explore acids and bases, and chemical and physical reactions. It is a priority and OSHA regulation that certain attire be worn in a lab to ensure safety.
In order for students to be successful and use hands-on activities in science, they must be safe.
The materials being requested will allow students to explore and bring ideas to reality without the worry of being injured in any way. Let's make science cool again for students. It is known that students participate and love science more at a young age when they are in an environment that looks and feels like a science lab.
