My students are very special. I teach Second grade to an amazing group of kids.
They love learning and reading.
This year they need to see themselves in books more than ever.
I really want them to have a resource at school to use, as well as at home. That's why I am growing my library
My students come from all over the world, they speak multiple languages. They come from low socioeconomic families, our school is now 100% free lunch program. Let's get them reading.
Thanks for your support!
My Project
Busy Minds Reading Brilliant Books is a great way for students to learn to read. These books will help other students it will continue their love of reading and keep their minds growing. My class has a great variety in their ability levels with reading and language. These books also promote diversity and social emotional components. I want them to see themselves in these books. I want them invested in the concepts so they can grow and learn lessons they can truly relate to. Busy minds with brilliant books is a great way to foster their minds.
