This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, learning is an exciting journey filled with discovery, creativity, and determination. However, hunger can create a barrier that dims even the brightest sparks of curiosity. Many of my students come to school without the fuel they need to stay focused and engaged throughout the day. That’s why I’m seeking your support to bring snacks into our classroom to ensure no child is held back by an empty stomach.

Snacks do more than satisfy hunger—they empower students to stay attentive, regulate their emotions, and give their best effort in every activity.

For my students, many of whom face unique challenges, the promise of a snack can also be a motivating reward, helping them persist through tough tasks and celebrate their progress.

Your generous donation will help provide snacks like Fritos and cookies, that are easy to distribute, and kid-approved. These small treats will have a big impact on creating an environment where every child feels cared for, energized, and ready to learn.
