My Project

My teaching pedagogy promotes a student-centered environment through project-based learning. Every single day my students are coloring, painting, and creating products to demonstrate their knowledge on the content. They have built the Parthenon, mummified dolls, created museums, and so much more. These type of projects take an ample amount of supplies!

Help me make history come alive for my students by motivating and engaging them in a way that they can take ownership of their learning.

The supplies listed will help them paint paper mache masks for our unit on Animism, or build mobiles when we learn about World War I. I teach five different history subjects (WHI, WHII, AP Euro, World Religions, and Women's Studies) and I always tell them that Busy Hands promotes Busy Minds. Help me activate meaningful and long-term learning for my students.
