Our school is a free public charter that draws students from a 5 county radius. Our morning arrivals often take awhile, so we want to create a welcoming environment that also gets hands and brains working in the mornings.
We are creating morning STEM bins for student to work in as they arrive in the mornings.
We believe this will wake up our students brains and creativity while creating a smooth start to our day.
Since returning to normal after COVID, our students are craving hands on experiences. STEM bins will give them the opportunity to use the knowledge they have gained from our Science and STEM classes as well as stimulate creativity, critical thinking, and problem solving. Our students love anything hands on and always react positively to STEM challenges.
Every kid needs a positive start to the day and with this project we aim to give it to them!
