First grade is a great time to learn lots of new things. Sometimes it is hard for students to do their work on paper and in books all day long. I like to get my students involved in what they are learning and do it in different ways.
Each student learns in a different way.
This is what makes all of us so interesting and it is okay. Everyone is unique in their own way. We help each other along the way by being kind and honest.
We like to have morning meetings where everyone can share their thoughts and ideas. This helps us to build class community. I want to help my students learn in whatever ways help them most. I love all my students and want what is best for them.
My Project
The materials for this project would help my students in many different ways. They are always wanting to be hands on and interacting in fun ways.
My students would benefit in different ways by being engaged with these materials.
They are always running out of dry erase markers. This makes it hard for them to follow along as well as being engaged. With many markers, we would not have to worry about what markers are dried out. With the LEGO set, students will be able to engaged in following directions of how to build something or counting activities. My students will thrive with these materials!
