My Students

My students are full of energy and love to practice any new skill I present to them. They are very interested in physical fitness and team competitions so we spend lots of hours practicing after school.

We are working on being region champs in Volleyball.

Since I am the only P.E. teacher in the school I have to spend lots of hours after school to keep my students engaged in activities they love, Many of them hope to be High School and college athletes so they are depending on me to help them set a solid foundation to their athletic careers.

They are first taught the rules and regulations of volleyball, we then research volleyball to learn about the sport and Olympians. They learn about the equipment and how to get themselves in physical condition to be a strong participant in volleyball. They learn eating habits and how to make healthy choices so their physical condition will enhance their performance and not hinder it.

They are a joy to work with because they work together so well and are very interested in learning new things an exciting challenges.

My Project

The volleyballs that I am requesting will help my students realize they can be great! The balls will be used to practice volleyball drills for setting, spiking and serving. The net will be used to play games and serving drills. The knee pads will be used to help prevent floor burns from sliding after balls.

Having knee pads will give them the courage to slide after balls knowing they won't get floor burns on their knees.

Having a net will also improve their serving and spiking because without a net, they are not really sure if their serve or spike will be in play. This equipment will help my students fell like an official volleyball team.
