This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

My students are creating beautiful, creative, and amazing work everyday that demonstrates their learning both of the English language and the content areas we study together.

For newcomer scholars, in particular, expressing their learning through art is an important way to show what they understand.

Right now, my classroom has a big gap of unusable wall space where we can't hang any student work. A bulletin board would be a great addition to the classroom space!
