This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

In our classroom, reading is a vital part of our daily routine. However, many of my students do not have access to books outside of school. I’m seeking support to build a classroom library that offers a wide range of books. With your help, we can create a library where every child feels seen and heard, and can find stories that reflect their experiences, cultures, and dreams.

These books will not only strengthen my students' literacy skills but will also help them develop empathy and critical thinking skills.

By reading diverse texts, students will be able to better understand the world around them and feel empowered to share their own unique stories. Your donation will directly support their love for reading and help set the foundation for academic success.
