My Project

Please help my 7th-grade science students become innovative thinkers and problem-solvers through hands-on engineering challenges! With the introduction of the new engineering TEKS in the Texas science curriculum, students must have opportunities to design, build, test, and improve real-world solutions. Magnetic tile blocks are the perfect tools to support these learning goals. These colorful, interlocking tiles allow students to explore structural integrity, symmetry, force, motion, and balance in a tangible, engaging way. Whether working independently or in collaborative teams, students will be able to construct bridges, towers, and other structures—bringing abstract scientific concepts to life. By incorporating magnetic tiles into our daily lessons, I can foster creativity, perseverance, and a deeper understanding of STEM concepts. Your support will give my students access to resources that make learning active, exciting, and meaningful. Together, we can inspire the next generation of engineers and innovators, one magnetic tile at a time!
