Using manipulatives to sound out and build words is a daily phonics activity for our K-2 students. Some students get additional support to help them master phonics skills during a built-in daily intervention block. Interventionists work with small groups of 3-4 students to provide more intensive support to help increase proficiency.
By donating to this project, you will help provide engaging hands-on materials that children can manipulate to build words based on their sound knowledge.
These kits contain magnetic letters, sound chips, dry erase markers, and a white board with sound boxes and handwriting lines, all within a leather binder that zips closed, enabling the kit to be portable.
