Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Students
As a teacher in a Title I school, I face many challenges to help my students succeed. However, each student that enters my classroom has such a love of learning and desire to be successful.
These incredible little learners are authors, readers, and thinkers.
Your donation will help these little minds access resources and technology to improve their learning on a daily basis. Each student comes in with different backgrounds, interests, and language abilities. Meeting their individual needs is my goal.
My Project
Many students in my class are struggling with phonics and word building skills. These hands on materials will help my students use different materials to practice and build their phonics skills.
By donating to this project, you will not only be helping these students phonics skills, you will be helping them reach their full reading and writing potential.
To see the students learn the connection between letter sounds and the words they can create will unlock their reading success. The first step is being able to build these words one letter at a time in different ways with different materials. Each opportunity will get them closer to the potential they each contain.
