My Project

Hi Friends and Family! This year, our school is engaging in a new curriculum. Our upcoming Unit of Study is based on Trees! We want to support students through learning and doing. That's why we are asking you to help us provide these opportunities for students to explore through hands-on materials.

We are requesting kids' tool belts and other materials that will help students become carpenters and builders, as we use materials I have been able to obtain through Home Depot, such as tree cuts from Christmas Trees, and live branches.

Hands-on learning promotes fine motor skills and allows children to learn through their mistakes.

Using hands-on activities in early childhood is a great way to link new concepts to ideas that children already understand.
