My Project

As we continue to bounce back from two years of out-of-the-ordinary learning, it is becoming more and more clear that students need opportunities to build up the basic, yet essential, skills that we often take for granted. While virtual learning allowed for the continuation of our students' education, our younger students missed out on the opportunity to practice basic skills such as proper pencil grip, handwriting skills, how to hold and use a pair of scissors, and more!

By providing our classroom with these essential supplies, you are helping us ensure that we can facilitate these hands-on developmental experiences for our students all year long.

We are asking for writing/coloring implements (pencils, crayons, and dry erase markers) to help students practice their manual dexterity, and pencil grips to help them with appropriate grip and control. We anticipate that there will be many mistakes as we begin working through these skills, so cap erasers will help us extend the life of our pencils. Hanging file folders will help me organize practice sheets (printed using the computer paper) so that students can easily access them as needed. The dry erase wipes will help us tidy up their dry erase tables after a long day of learning together as well, and the storage caddies will make accessing and organizing materials a cinch!
