Building Together

My Students

My students are passionate, hard-working and loving. This year we opened a new school and our school's theme is "Let's Build Together". This theme is coming alive in our classroom and it shows in their friendships and partner work. We are striving to be accepting of our differences with a focus on being kind.

This year my 22 students are most passionate about science, technology, reading and art.

They are curious about the world around them and proactive about learning new things every day.

My Project

My students have their own chrome books and the headphones will help students during independent work time. They currently use a reading program that is adapted to their level and core based that includes audio portions. The headphones will make it easier for them to hear and stay focused. They will also need the headphones when watching videos for research.

My students are extremely creative and love STEM activities.

We will use the lego sets during our science and math lessons to incorporate engineering. The racetracks will be used when learning about force and motion.

The laminator and laminating sheets will be used to preserve special art pieces the students create this year. I will also use them to laminate cards to teach new concepts.
