This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

As an educator passionate about creating engaging and interactive learning environments, I am striving to implement a pedagogical learning style called “building thinking classrooms” to enhance my students’ learning experiences.

To achieve this goal, I am in need of whiteboards for each of my student groups in the classroom.

Whiteboards are essential tools that promote collaborative thinking, problem-solving, and active participation among students. By having whiteboards readily available, my students will be able to brainstorm ideas, work through complex problems, and visually represent their thoughts, fostering a deeper understanding of the subject matter.

I am reaching out to request your support in making this initiative a reality. Your generous donation towards purchasing whiteboards for our classroom would make a significant impact on enriching the learning experiences of my students. Together, we can empower our students to become critical thinkers and lifelong learners.

My students come from diverse backgrounds; from racial and ethnic to multi-lingual and students with IEPs. Providing them with opportunities to collaborate with each other, and produce language as much as possible would be the most sound educational strategy to reach such a diverse audience.
