Building Thinking Classrooms!

Help me give my students space for a building thinking classroom and flexible seating!

My Project

The current students that I have were just 2nd graders at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. While three school years have gone by, and entering their 4th year, we are still hopeful that we can provide support to our students. Many students are still working towards meeting grade-level standards and there is a huge push to focus on students' social-emotional needs.

These resources will allow students the flexibility to learn where they feel is best for them.

The vertical whiteboards will be used to implement Building Thinking Classrooms. I will be able to implement 14 teaching practices that will help enhance the learning for students not only in mathematics but also in all subjects! The flexible seating will allow students to have a voice in the choice of where to work. They chose the flexible seating options that are in this project and I know they are excited for it!
