Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I love how curious, creative, and resilient my students are. They come to class with unique perspectives and a genuine excitement for learning, even when faced with challenges. My goal is to create a classroom that reflects their energy—one that is welcoming, engaging, and adaptable to all learning styles.
The items I’m requesting will help transform our classroom into a space where my students can thrive.
Flexible seating will allow them to choose a spot that works best for their focus, while visually engaging decor will make the room more inviting and help students feel connected to what they’re learning. Organizational tools will support a more structured environment, enabling students to access materials easily and stay on track. These changes will help foster a sense of ownership over their space and encourage collaboration.
My hope is that these resources will help build an environment where students feel safe, inspired, and excited to come to class every day. By creating a space that reflects their individuality and meets their needs, I want to give them the best possible foundation for success.
What makes my students special is their resilience. They face many challenges but approach each day with a positive attitude and a desire to learn. With the right resources and environment, I know they will continue to grow and reach their full potential.
