This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Our high school's Jobs for Graduates program wants to build a financial literacy library to give students guidance on money management that will equip them with the knowledge and skills to start adult life with a healthier financial mindset.
Preparing students with the knowledge and tools to make informed financial decisions, create budgets, begin thinking about entrepreneurships are essential pathways to independence.
Our classroom's resources are typically reliant on the generosity of people who know our students are worth the investment.
My students are motivated and want to be prepared for major life decisions, such as entering the workforce or continuing their education. The eagerness to learn makes them stand out and will definitely prepare them to face the challenges of adult life.
