Building Strong Reading Skills with Storyworks

My Project

I have been looking for high-interest reading materials that integrate social studies and science for my students. Storyworks meets these criteria and provides six publishings during the school year where students will get to experience the genres of fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and plays. It seems to have something everyone will enjoy, and my goal is for my students to love reading the way I do.

I love my school, and this year we will be absorbing a large portion of students from another school that is closing.

This will be a year of integration and I want them to have as many positive experiences as possible.
