it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
UFLI is a research-based Tier 1 phonics program that has shown outstanding results in students across the country. I am requesting funding for the UFLI Teaching Manual for my 3rd-grade class, along with a $100 gift card to Teachers Pay Teachers (TPT). These resources will greatly impact my students' learning by offering structured, research-based phonics instruction. Many of my 3rd graders need additional support in building the foundational skills essential for reading success. With the UFLI Teaching Manual, I’ll be able to deliver targeted lessons and activities to help them become confident, proficient readers. The TPT gift card will allow me to purchase supplementary materials like posters and practice pages that align with the UFLI curriculum, further enriching the learning experience.
My goal with this project is to give my students a strong phonics foundation so they can enter 4th grade ready to "read to learn".
These resources and those from TPT will create a more interactive and dynamic classroom environment, equipping my students with the tools they need to master phonics and develop a love for reading. With your support, I can provide them with the resources they need to excel academically and achieve their goals.
