As a passionate educator, I strive every day to make reading an enjoyable and successful experience for my students. Many of them are just beginning their reading journey and need structured, phonics-based materials to develop essential literacy skills. Decodable books are a critical tool in this process. They allow students to apply what they've learned about letter sounds and phonics patterns in meaningful and engaging texts.
Currently, our classroom library lacks a sufficient selection of decodable readers that match students' instructional levels. With your support, I hope to add a rich variety of decodable books that are age-appropriate, culturally inclusive, and aligned with the science of reading. These books will support small group instruction, independent practice, and build the confidence my students need to become lifelong readers.
