Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
I teach an amazing group of first-grade students who are eager to learn and grow as readers! In our classroom, we focus on building foundational literacy skills that will set them up for lifelong success. My students love interactive, hands-on learning experiences that make reading fun and engaging. These young learners are developing their phonics, fluency, and comprehension skills, and they thrive when given the right tools to practice in meaningful ways.
To support my students in their literacy journey, I am requesting high-quality reading games and phonics centers from Lakeshore Learning.
These interactive materials will help my first graders master essential reading skills, including vowel teams, sentence fluency, and phonemic awareness. Each item in this project is designed to make learning exciting and effective for early readers.
Every contribution, no matter the size, brings us closer to ensuring my first graders have the resources they need to thrive. Thank you for supporting early literacy and the future success of my young learners!
