This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

An iPad paired with purposeful learning centers will make a meaningful difference in student learning by providing engaging, hands-on experiences that support phoneme and phonemic awareness. The iPad allows students to practice listening, identifying, blending, and segmenting sounds through interactive and differentiated activities, while learning centers promote active participation, collaboration, and independence. Together, these tools create a balanced learning environment where students can practice skills at their own pace and apply them in multiple ways, helping them build a strong foundation for reading success.

The goal of this project is to help students not only meet but exceed grade-level expectations in early literacy.

By using the iPad for targeted instruction and learning centers for reinforcement and application, students will strengthen critical early reading skills, increase confidence, and develop a love for learning. This project also aims to support diverse learning styles and provide equitable access to high-quality instructional resources.

Our students are special because they are curious, energetic, and eager to learn, bringing unique strengths and needs into the classroom each day. Many benefit from interactive, hands-on learning opportunities that keep them engaged and motivated. By incorporating technology and structured learning centers, we can better meet individual needs, foster independence, and empower students to become confident, capable learners.
