My Project
As a kindergarten teacher, I see every day how my students are learning to navigate the big, sometimes overwhelming, emotions that come with being 5 and 6 years old. From excitement to frustration, joy to sadness, these little ones experience a world of emotions, and learning to manage them is an essential part of their growth. The materials I’m requesting will provide my students with the tools they need to understand and regulate their emotions in healthy ways. Whether it’s through calming visuals, sensory items, books, or emotional check-in charts, these resources will empower my students to express themselves, stay focused, and thrive in the classroom.
What makes my students so special is their curiosity, their big hearts, and their willingness to learn and grow.
By receiving these items, I aim to create a safe and nurturing environment where each child feels supported and equipped to handle their emotions, ultimately helping them become more confident learners and compassionate peers.
