Building STEM-Sational Skills in Varying Exceptionalities Pre-K With Manipulatives

Help me give my students the creative, fine motor, and STEM skills needed to give them a boost for the upcoming school year and beyond! The skills learned by using the requested materials will enhance mathematical thinking skills.

My Project

The puzzles, blocks, and manipulative will enable my Varying Exceptionalities Pre-K Class to strengthen their fine motor skills, explore creativity, and enhance concept development through working on a task. These skills are critical for young children in their learning. These items have been chosen due to their STEM and pre-math considerations. Many of our students receive occupational therapy and speech, so I am certain these items will aid in that development as well.

Our class will use the materials at free choice centers to further enhance their decision making skills, increase autonomy, and empower them with confidence.
