Building Stamina Through Play

My Project

In discussing with colleagues about needs throughout my school, I have determined a need to develop students' stamina for challenging activities that will help them tackle harder projects and tasks as they get more advanced. In kindergarten, this looks like using play to develop critical thinking skills, social emotional skills, and the ability to see a challenge through to the end.

Using games and puzzles, students will be able to develop their skills in working together with peers, tackling a larger challenge, and abilities to productively struggle to meet a goal.

Additionally, these activities and the vocabulary supplements will support English language development for all students, not just English language learners.

By supporting my students with these materials, you will help them develop crucial skills in their early childhood experience that will set them up to be excellent students and citizens of their communities as they grow older.
