My Project

My student's have a variety of communication needs. Some are non-verbal, while others have language expression challenges. They need access to colorful, appealing materials that will hold their attention, motivate them and provide a way for them to interact with their peers and with staff.

Please help me acquire a color printer, lamination supplies and facilitative language therapy materials so that I can provide engaging speech therapy experiences to foster my student's communication and language skills.

I have very limited access to a color printer. Creating materials that are black and white just does not hold my student's interest or attention. The printer will enable me to create color communication pictures and interactive resources for my students who are non-verbal, while the premade therapy resources will provide opportunities to facilitate communication when the students interact with the materials.

My student's see vivid colors in the world around them so it would be great to bring colorful resources into their speech therapy experiences.
