Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Students at our school have been creating fantastic skateboards with themes such as anti-vaping, LGBTQ rights, and promoting empathy. Now that we've got the ball rolling with our first 5 skateboards, demand is soaring. Funding this project means that 10 lucky students will use their Maker Journals to create board designs. Once approved, they will use acrylic paint to make their designs come to life. Your donation will also allow us to purchase trucks and wheels to get the skateboards to be fully functional. Once complete, students can take the board home to enjoy.
