My Students

My students are gifted students in 3rd and 4th grades. This is my first year as a gifted teacher. My students will be immersed in activities to hone their problem solving skills. They will be challenged with logic problems. Activities for them include engineering and design projects. Objectives will include collaboration, creativity, and communication.

My Project

This project will challenge my gifted students to build and create using the K'nex kits. They will learn about simple machines and other STEM topics such as gears.

These materials will make a huge difference in my students' learning about the engineering design process!

They will explore many concepts as they use these exceptional kits. They will be engaged thoroughly in their learning by using these hands-on materials. My students will be collaborating with their classmates as they problem solve by successfully building the many items included in these worthwhile kits!
