My Project
These items will help our G.O.A.L.S classroom which includes a large range of autistic students in grades K-2nd. My classroom goals this year are to give my students sensory needs to help my students self-regulate and to learn a very important skill of working independently.
Throughout the day we work hard on academic, social skills, and their IEP goals however they need structured and scheduled breaks throughout the day.
This is where having access to a sensory swing and manipulatives comes into play!
We are always working toward creating independent workers. Students are often easily distracted by things in the room or other students. These room dividers will help students to stay focused within their own workspaces by creating some separation and help to eliminate distractions within the classroom.
