Help me give my students basic hygiene products such soap, acne pads, and deodorant to give them confidence in their appearance that will help them succeed socially and academically.
The middle school years are a time of transition from child to young adulthood. There is a constant flux of changes in their bodies physically as well as emotionally. It is so important that they feel confident in the person they are becoming and presenting.
With income not keeping up with cost of living for many of our families who are living from paycheck to paycheck, money is just not there for personal hygiene necessities.
We are hoping to give them what they need so they come to school with the confidence needed to succeed personally and academically.
