Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
We would love to have a Cricut in class so that students can design and create tangible items that will give them joy.
My goal is for students to use the Cricut to create items that will promote sharing and kindness.
We will focus on making designs that will allow students to use their creativity and then bring those designs to life whether it be on t-shirts, mugs, pencils, or stickers. Then we will share those items to incentivize positive behavior in school. Our students will be able to deliver the items they create to winning students and classrooms using the cart. The other items such as the pencils and erasers will also be used to reinforce positive behavior.
We also want to promote taking care of our school environment and beautifying our campus. Student-created items will be a fun, exciting, and motivational way for students to feel good about themselves and give to others.
