My Project

In our classroom, we are creating a hands-on environment where students can practice real-life vocational and functional skills in a safe, supportive space. Throughout the week, students will rotate through stations focused on life skills like folding laundry, stocking grocery shelves, preparing simple meals, setting tables, and managing basic cleaning tasks. Each of these activities simulates the kinds of routines they will encounter at home, in the community, or in future jobs—giving them the opportunity to build independence and purpose.

Your donation will directly impact our students by giving them the tools they need to gain confidence and real-world skills.

With your help, students will use task boxes to strengthen their fine motor coordination, timers to build focus and time management, and visual supports to complete tasks independently. These materials allow students to participate in meaningful, structured activities that build both job readiness and daily life skills. Every dollar supports their growth—not just as learners, but as future employees, community members, and independent adults.

Whether they’re preparing snack orders in our classroom café, completing a folding task at our laundry station, or learning to clock in for a classroom job, your support helps create experiences that are empowering, relevant, and deeply needed.
