My Project
Phonemic Awareness is the ability to hear and manipulate individual sounds. This is a necessary foundational skill to building reading fluency. Children are unique in the way they process sounds. Help my first grade students build and strengthen their reading fluency by giving them materials to use while working with letters and sounds.
Our state is making an impact on student learning by creating a plan to bridge the reading gaps for primary students.
The reading success act encourages a stronger influence with phonics in general. The materials in this project will give my students individual materials to use in their reading centers, whole group instruction, and small group instruction.
