Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
My Project
Reading centers are a daily routine in my classroom. I love teaching reading using hands-on manipulatives to reinforce letters and sounds. These materials will help me teach students during their daily reading center rotations. Students will work in groups, using these materials to help support their learning and understanding of concepts like letter sounds, counting syllables, recognizing rhymes and decoding CVC words.
My students are eager to learn and always excited when they can showcase what they know using hands-on tools.
These manipulatives will help foster their love of learning.
