My Project

Building Bright Readers with Books and Book Bins! My students are eager readers who are just beginning their journey into chapter books and independent reading. To foster their love of reading and build essential literacy skills, we need engaging, level-appropriate books like The Princess in Black and Catman, along with sight word flashcards to support vocabulary development.

Right now, many of my students are transitioning from picture books to early chapter books, and they need access to titles that will keep them excited and challenged without being overwhelmed.

Series like The Princess in Black are the perfect fit—fun, adventurous, and just the right length for growing readers.

To keep our classroom library organized and accessible, we also need sturdy book bins. These bins will help students independently find and return books, making our library a welcoming and student-friendly space. In addition, we need more prizes for the prize bin to encourage reading!

With your support, I can provide my students with:

Early chapter books that match their reading level and interests.

Sight word flashcards to strengthen foundational reading skills.

Book bins to keep our library neat, organized, and inviting.

These resources will help my students build confidence, fluency, and a lifelong love of reading.
