Building Readers, One Shelf at a Time

Help me give my students the tools they need to succeed by providing new bookshelves to organize our growing classroom library and inspire a love of reading.

My Project

My 8th grade students are a talented and energetic group of young adults. Despite the challenges they face, they are eager to dive into new topics, debate ideas, and express themselves creatively.

With new bookshelves, I can:

Organize our growing classroom library: Making it easier for students to find books that spark their interests.

Create a dedicated reading space: A quiet place for independent reading and research.

Encourage critical thinking and analysis By providing access to a variety of texts.

My goal is to inspire a lifelong love of learning in my students and provide them with the tools they need to succeed. With a well-organized classroom library, I can foster a culture of curiosity and intellectual exploration.

What makes my students special is their unique blend of youthful energy and emerging maturity. They’re ready to tackle challenging ideas and make a difference in the world, despite the obstacles they may face.
