Each year I am blessed with students who are enthusiastic learners and are very excited about learning, reading, and writing. They are very inquisitive and love to ask lots of question. The quote below summarizes my class. "You were Made to be Awesome," by Kid President. The children in my classes are beyond amazing and will make a special impact on the world. Their enthusiasm for reading and writing is incredible, and it is amazing to watch their eyes light up when they are reading a book.
My Project
Our third grade needs a variety of book sets to be used during our guided reading time. We need a variety of book sets so all of our children can participate in book clubs and become fluent readers and writers. These books will be used to build students fluency and confidence in reading. These readers will give students the practice that they need with fluency and sight words. This will help them grow into confident readers. It is the most amazing sight to see a students’ face to light up with excitement from reading an exciting book. Bring excitement to our students faces by contributing to this grant.
