My Project
All of these learning activities and materials will help build my general and special education students' phonemic and phonological awareness. A student's level of phonemic awareness is one of the strongest indicators of whether or not a student will be able to read. Many students come to school with this ability. Many students need to be, and can be, explicitly taught.
We will be using these materials throughout the week during our literacy workshop.
The Hear Myself Phone will be perfect for exploring letter sounds, phoneme blending, phonics practice, and oral reading.
