My Project
Learning to read is incredibly important for everyone! Phonics is vital to learning how to read. In Kindergarten and First grade, students learn the letters and sounds. They would blend the letters to create words. They combine parts of words to make more significant words. Therefore, I would like to introduce this content in many different ways. My students have very different needs and are on various levels, and I would like to make sure they all leave my reading groups with a solid foundation for reading.
Hence, I am asking for these activities!
With phonics being a high priority in kindergarten and first grade, offering my students alternative interactions other than pencil and paper would be good. All these materials introduce different decodable words that they learned in teacher-led activities that will lead the students to work entirely independently.
