Building Our Yearlong Art Portfolios

Help me give my students a class pack of graphite pencils and mixed media art pads for a year long art portfolio.

My Project

I am setting up my new fourth-grade classroom to be a space where creativity, expression, and hands-on learning are celebrated. Due to changes outside of our control, my students will no longer have a dedicated art teacher this year. As their classroom teacher, I’ll be taking on the role of providing these enriching experiences—and I need your help to make it possible.

For this project, I’m requesting multimedia art pads so that each student can build a yearlong art portfolio.

These high-quality pads will support a variety of materials, including watercolor, markers, pencils, and collage. I’m also requesting a class set of graphite drawing pencils so students can learn about value, shading, and the fundamentals of drawing. These supplies will allow students to explore techniques that help bring their artwork to life.

Your support will help ensure my students don’t miss out on the creative opportunities they deserve. These materials will be the foundation of a meaningful and lasting experience that supports their growth as artists and learners.
