My Students
This curious group of First graders loves to interact with each other and their environment. They love technology, but learn best when they can physically handle the materials. They are compassionate about their friends, and love to laugh.
This is a very diverse group of students who love to learn!
Our class comes from a variety of backgrounds, experiences, and families. They encourage each other to take chances and try new things, and support their friends when they make mistakes. They want to see each other succeed!
My Project
We need Legos and Osmo kits to develop and grow our love of STEM and math.

Every child becomes an engineer when they are given a big box of Legos to play with. The unlimited possibilities of what to build, the trial and error of what you designed. The rebuild, and then the changing of our design to fit new possibilities. It never ends! It is the ultimate STEM material.
OSMO utilizes tech and hands on materials to teach kids both basic and advanced math skills. My students are immediately engaged as OSMO is interactive. They are a part of what is going on, not just a student playing a game. Students also learn to persevere as they games get progressively harder.
