Building Our Math Knowledge Through Legos

My Project

I teach Special Education to 3rd through 5th grade. I look for multiple ways to teach various math concepts. I have found students learn best if you can relate it to them.

Through these Lego lessons they will be able to work math concepts while building projects which makes this project something they can relate to.

I feel these lessons will reach students not only this year but for multiple years to come.

I also have discovered doing lessons with LEGOs helps with their anxiety and a lot of my students struggle with learning anxiety and this gives them a resource to help cope in addition to the academic side of it all.
