My Students
"I grew two levels!" a student exclaimed. Students cannot wait to share their growth with their peers and teachers at our school. Our students attend a zoned school in east Nashville where 100% of students receive free lunch. All students walk or are driven to school, and parents and families are eager to be a part of our community!
My students are full of love!
I cannot wait to see each of their faces in the morning. Every day, we start with literacy centers, go to specials (yoga, gym, music, or math intervention), whole group reading, writing, math, science, and social studies. Every day, they grow socially and academically to be their best selves.
My Project
Please help me get my students creative supplies! In this project I asked for things like markers, pencils & erasers, white board markers & erasers, paint, and fancy pens. These things are to help build a love of learning. Many of my students struggle with sight words. I am hoping that with these new creative supplies students will love to practice sight words which will help them become better readers. I also asked for things like paint and legos so that the students can play and paint during indoor recess. Students need time to do things they love so that they can go back to learning.
