My Project
My first grade classroom is a unique group of artists and engineers! They enjoy building and creating. I love their passion for building and I would love to give these first graders more to build with!
I have noticed the joy and quiet chatter as friendships are being built while students are creating and building together in the classroom. MagnaTiles, LEGO, and trains would be a very welcome addition to our STEM bins and free choice time. Building and engineering is good for students’ brains as well as their fine motor skills.
